The actual plan was to go to Penang to walk and eat and grow fat but due to time constraint, we decided on Malacca where we can also walk and see and eat and grow fat. It is a place where u can find all kinds of museums, alot of shophouses, lanes and nice food and..skies. =D
We took abit of a roughout way too. We took 170 to larkin and in between, we got to alight many a times for customs. Due to the horrendous traffic jam in the morning. We alighted way before the malaysia checkpoint and followed the 'experienced crowd' (can see from the way they garang through the road, challenging the fierce traffic behind) walk through the highway and up the checkpt and boy, i felt my lungs became 2 tanks of carbon monoxide after we reached the checkpoint.
I haven travelled to Malaysia by land since i was 7, I was relieved that there was no jammed packed queues and theres AIRCON! haha i know. m suaku. Then again, maybe it's a weekday. (We went on a Tuesday morning)
When we reached Larkin. We were crowded by touts, asking us where we wanna go..but they weren't as aggressive as those in China, who literally start to pull ur bag from u. We finally picked one out of that lot and took a 3 hour bus to Malacca!
At Malacca central, We took a bus to our hostel -the only booking we made for the trip LOL.
Anyways, the local bus experience was quite a funny one. The 4 of us were all less than 1.65m and there wasn't any seats left, so we were left standing. Thing is, the stupid triangle holder for the hand is way above us that we got to lift our hand straight up. This is the first time i felt that i am really vertically-challenged and when i looked at my friends, we laugh mad at one another.
here goes the picture-intensive post...
when u have no money to buy, u shoot it back.

beside it. It was said that Cheng Ho brought it from Africa to China as a Qi Lin

The guest house we stayed was also simple and cozy. It's a 2 storey shophouse along the mainroad. No hot water, no aircon but still, it's still quite clean!
